I love Divergent!!

I agree with you Sabine, the writing was not perfect but then I am very self critical of my first book and yet people read and love it!.
The characters of Tris and Four were engaging and the themes of the book were well thought out.

I definitely liked this book and thought that the plot is very interesting. This is set in dystopian Chicago alongside the faction system. This proved to be very effective in creating a setting for the reader which I found to be intriguing. Various characters make up a strong and dramatic plot. Very typical dystopian plot elements in an otherwise great atmospheric setting but I still found it an enjoyable read. My favourite character is Edward because he's good at self defense which I wish I was also good at, but Peter ruined him.. :( Anyways, it's a great book and one that will forever be one of my favourites.
