What modern retelling of a classic have you read? What story is it retelling?

I’ve got a few! I love retellings.
A Court of Thorns and Roses is my all time favorite series, and the first is a Beauty and the Beast retelling.
If the Shoe Fits which is a modern Cinderella retelling.
By the Book which is a modern Beauty and the Beast retelling.
Cinder series, which the first one is a Cinderella retelling , the second Little red riding hood, the third Rapunzel, and the last Snow White.
Hunted which is a Beauty and the beast retelling.
Lost in the Never Woods which is a Peter Pan retelling.

Ooh. I think Lost in the Never Wood will be my pick. I love Peter Pan stories!

A Curse So Dark and Lonely is on my list unread, looks to be a modern retelling of beauty and the beast with a twist

I read a lot in this genre so I’ll probably read a remixed classic like the Romeo & Juliet one coming out.

Last year I read Revenge by Stephen Fry (also sometimes called The stars' tennis balls), it's a retelling of The count of monte christo. Btw, how do I link to books?

This is a favorite of mine. Most of it is set in a fantasy world, but there are some scenes from a contemporary setting.

Tonight I finished IF THE SHOE FITS by Julie Murphy. Cute story, but not my genre of choice. 3***
