Synek Neris | 1 comments Hey guys!
Do you have something for me where stuff just happens, the storry is fast paced, it is coherent and above all it is violent? I am fairly tired of reading books that have like three action scenes and then they are done.

Stuart Kurth | 16 comments I know self promotion is forbidden here but my books Blades Lost and Blades Broken mighty be exactly what you’re after. Currently free on Smashwords as well.

Wilfred Berkhof (wfberkhof) | 5 comments The West of West series by Angus Watson sounds exactly like what you've described with a ton of added humour.

Eric Lewis (eric_lewis) | 2 comments The Heron Kings is pretty much that.

Chris (chrisclpool) | 3 comments Best served cold by abercrombie, but I'd read his main trilogy and best served cold first. also ash and sand trilogy, manifest delusions, anything by john gwynne

Phillip Murrell | 30 comments One's that popped into my mind first:

The Heroes (Though all First Law books will do)
The Maleficent Seven
The Powder Mage Trilogy: Promise of Blood, The Crimson Campaign, The Autumn Republic
Old Man's War
Kings of the Wyld
Fall of Tristan
Vox
First Contact

I'm sure there are others, if you look at my read list. I love pages of action.

Stuart Kurth | 16 comments I feel like Best Served Cold is far more bloody than The Heroes. Both are great though.

message 9: by Phillip (new)

Phillip Murrell | 30 comments Best Served Cold has a lot, but The Heroes is literally one battle, three days long. Plus, Bremer dan Gorst was a POV character.

message 10: by Stuart (new)

Stuart Kurth | 16 comments Yes. Heroes is definitely my favourite Abercrombie entry.

message 11: by Cecilie (new)

Cecilie | 1 comments Abercrombie is my favourite as well, but I also really enjoyed the "War for the rose throne"-series ( https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...) Dark and good.
And "Beyond redemption", by Michael R. Fletcher, + "kings dark tidings"-series by Kel Kade.
