yes it's really quite easy. i go to a photo i want to add (sometimes finding the photo is the hard bit!) then right click and copy image address - i'm on a mac by the way. I go to the place i want to add the image and then i use the HTML to do so.

< img src="paste the copied link here" > but take away the spaces after the < and before the >

img src means IMAGE SOURCE

It might be easier with a video, and I found this

https://www.alessandratorreink.com/ho...

Hope that helps!

gifs work too!

Thank you so much!
They're all good - many are re-reads, but i think the book that meant the most this time around is The Worst Journey in the World (1922) by Cherry, Apsley Cherry-Garrard. The expedition left him with life-long PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) - although they didn't have a name for it at the time.

Wobbley | 2517 comments That one sounds so harrowing! I have never been to Antarctica, but I saw a display about that journey in a museum in New Zealand some years ago, and just seeing the display and reading the placards actually made me cry.

This wasn't about the race to the pole, but they were on a scientific expedition to collected penguin eggs, with the hopes they would be fertilised and thus provide a link to help understand evolution. It was brutal and Cherry was lucky to be alive at the end of it.

I think you'll like it. My friend Ross, who is also reading this, has recommended The Birthday Boys (1993) by Beryl Bainbridge.

It was a very sweet story, kind of like an independent film (my son says he doesn't like those because 'nothing happens', but things DO happen) I found it pleasurable.

and Yes I know it's an annual challenge, but I have many of them and am trying to work my way through them all. The last 3 books will take longer! Thank you! xx
