Is this ok? Once you've responded, let me know if I should edit this post/comment to remove the list of books so they dont accidentally get counted. I haven't read any yet! Thanks!

Stories of your life and others

If these are the actual book titles, they work for the chain. The link between books can also be the author's name. For example:
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
Shadow Prey by John Sandford
To answer your other question, you should delete the titles until after you read them. Otherwise it does get confusing for Stephanie when she counts up the points.

Thanks Connie! I hadn't realized that the linking word didn't have to be the last word of the first book and then the first word of the next book. Very helpful! 😊

Limited to 5 books, this challenge is like the book chain challenge we did in 2021. Start with a book of your choice and then find your next book using a “link” to either the book title or the author's name.
A few simple rules:
1. You can add to the beginning or the end of the chain but not the middle.
2. You cannot re-order the chain after you've added a book to it.
3. The linking word or author may be used more than once in the chain but not consecutively, so no chaining of the same author’s name or series title.
4. We will accept a pluralized word as a linking word, i.e., Baby, followed by Babies. We will also accept variations of the same verb, i.e., Runs and Ran or Running.
5. Common words cannot be used as a link in the chain. (i.e., "the", "and", "with", etc.)
