Jenni (jennischwartz) | 60 comments I read The Monsters We Make (Kali White). As a southsider, it was a little surreal reading street names and locations that I know very well but also pretty neat. Thanks for the recommendation! I plan to read a few more off my list.

Lindsey Prozorovsky | 9 comments I read "The Reluctant Fundamentalist" by Mohsin Hamid. It's the fictional story of a Pakistani man who was happy and successful in America before 9/11, but his experience changes drastically after the attack. I really liked it off the bat, very compelling story, but I feel like it kind of went off the rails and the ending was weak. I'm excited to read the other books recommended by the Book Chat librarian, what a cool offering!

Andy (pleasereadittome) | 55 comments I read "The Mostly True Story of Tanner & Louise" by Colleen Oakley. This is not my usual genre, but I wanted to read something a little lighter, however I really didn't like this book.
