Possible misattribution of quote?

After searching for this, it appears that Goethe is the real source. I found this article that states "Lee was a big fan of this quote; in fact, he is known to have stated it in conversations and interviews, which led many to think it was his own." Here it is

Looking at the changelog someone changed it in 2021. The changelog is above the quote box if you click edit on the right of the quote.
I added a tag to say it is "misattributed to bruce lee" which we do on some quotes like this.

Guess that’s a Super‐Librarian‐only thing, because I don’t have that edit button/link. :)
Thanks for looking into this and making the tag! (And yeah, I’m pretty sure I liked the quote prior to 2021, so does indeed seem like that change was made after then.)
Authors mentioned in this topic
Bruce Lee (other topics)Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (other topics)
I don’t see any way to see a changelog of the quote nor do I see any Librarian notes on it, so I don’t know whether these things exists for quotes at all.
Anyway, if someone is able to look into what’s going on there, that’d be appreciated. Thanks! ❤️
