Kindle Paperwhite questions

Off the top of my head, I’m thinking that there are lots of free books available through Project Gutenberg. These are generally classics/old books that are out of copyright. Some gems, lots of rubbish. You might need an eBook manager like Calibre to convert the files and transfer to your Kindle.
I also remember reading that Amazon was opening up the Kindle software to accept ePub format, which would provide more options including paid. Haven’t tried it myself, so not sure what’s involved. Might also depend how old your Paperwhite is, and what version of software it’s running.
Hope that helps a bit.

Have been spending some time with google trying to work out how to get EPUB library loans across only to learn can only do it in America 🤦🏼♀️ thank you again.

Amazon has loads of free kindle books all the time Kaitlyn - just search for free kindle books and you'll find a lot. Keep an eye out in our Free Kindle thread too as often someone will post there's free books. Other groups have them as well. Good luck!
