What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

- I think all/most of the characters were animals like rats? There was a pied piper character and it was the villain. i think it was the king?
- I remember feeling disturbed by everything that was happening
- I don't think the title was "The pied piper of hamelin". it was different, it's just that the story drew upon the aspects of Pied piper tale.

- i read the book ~2012-2015
- book was likely published after the 2000s, written in English.
- i believe the cover image was quite whimsical or colorful.

its a children’s novel, I think it’s suitable for 9-10 year olds, not young kids though
