I've just finished the entire first part, and I don't believe the coach did it. He is quite literally the perfect suspect and I feel like it's too obvious to make him the killer. I'm interested to see how his connection to the people who gave statements about him plays out. I'm interested to see/hear more from the little girl down the street and the coaches wife/children. If the coach is innocent... I still find him a little fishy.
SPOILERS******
Hold up- what in the world is happening? I'm on "Footsteps and Cantaloupe" and Coach Terry has been shot and killed? and NOW there's a man stalking his children? The PD seem to be sure he didn't do it thanks to the evidence in Cap City and the little homeless runaway in that van. I'm not familiar with Stephen King's writing, but I know he writes horror and this one hasn't been very HOROR yet. the "eyes of straw" comment was said twice and the 2nd time even more ominous. I am thinking this MIGHT take a weird paranormal turn? Supernatural of some sort.
