March 2023 - From An Animal's Point Of View

Have you ever wondered what animals think about? For this prompt, find a book that is narrated by an animal. The entire book may be from their perspective, or, there may only be certain chapters or sections from their point of view. Any animal works for this prompt. (Example: You may choose a book featuring a pet, a wild animal, a fantasy or mythical creature, etc.)

Here is the link for our Goodreads List, feel free to add your suggestions to it!

Michele Olson | 517 comments I've read it before, so I won't be using it, but Mrs. Chippy's Last Expedition: The Remarkable Journal of Shackleton's Polar-Bound Cat by Caroline Alexander is an awesome book.

Anna (annafrommontana) | 413 comments I just read Smoky the Crow. I was going to use this for the published by MacMillan prompt, but then I realized it was a perfect fit here. It is not all from Smoky's POV but we do get to see the world as Smoky sees it.

Adrienne | 122 comments I am really enjoying Black Beauty. Listening to the audio book and the narrator does a great job with all of the different character/horse voices.
