VampAmber | 622 comments Had quite a few possibilities, I'm pretty big into the nonfiction section of the library. But I managed to narrow it down to just one.

Because Internet Understanding the New Rules of Language by Gretchen McCulloch Because Internet: Understanding the New Rules of Language by Gretchen McCulloch

I read the first chapter or so a while back, and it was both hilarious and educational, and very entertaining as well. ^_^

Gabby | 628 comments So I had a couple of nominations mainly as there are some really good non fiction life stories. Also yes I am a medical nerd, comes from the job! :D

Blood, Sweat and Tea by Tom Reynolds Blood, Sweat and Tea by Tom Reynolds

A fun, truthful, short story driven account of life on the frontline in the London Ambulance, granted in 2009 which is very different to how it is now, however it really shows the changes in pressures.

Agnieszka (agnieszka7) | 1987 comments I looked up several nonfiction books I wanted to nominate but the prices are pretty much on the verge though I’m not sure if the US pricing is higher or lower when converting from Euro. Erica would you mind to check if any of the following would work?

1) The Puma Years: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089SQN5WQ/
2) The Secret Lives of Color: https://www.amazon.com/dp/0143131141/
3) My Grammar and I (Or Should That Be 'Me'?): Old-School Ways to Sharpen Your English: https://www.amazon.com/-/de/gp/aw/d/1...
4) Invisible Women: Data Bias in a World Designed for Men: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/141...
5) Nomadland: Surviving America in the Twenty-First Century: https://www.amazon.com/dp/0393356310/

The GR link is not always the same edition as the Amazon link but I wanted to make it as easy for you as possible (without spending a lot of time figuring it out which edition is which) I converted the Amazon.de links to Amazon.com, so I hope they work.
Should more than one work I decide which one I’d like to read most as soon as possible.

It looks like the last three on your list all have at least Kindle versions within the price limit - and our small local library has access to all of them as well. So why don't you go with one of those? And thanks for the links. Most helpful!
