Avery meets ex-FBI Agent John Paul Renard by coincidence, and they reconnect with some obvious sparks. Your thoughts on this pair teaming up to search for the missing women and becoming a couple given their history and age difference?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments Avery had never met John-Paul before. When John-Paul sees Avery he thinks she is some California Blonde Bimbo. She soon shows him the error of making snap judgments. I always like when the H/h team up to solve the mystery. In this case, John-Paul is a loner and doesn't work well with others, but Avery isn't about to let him get away with that.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I like this couple. It is an opposites attract scenario that works. I enjoyed that we see John Paul's outlook change. It is obvious when his feelings for Avery begin to show. This is my favorite couple so far in the series.

I loved when Noah arrived. He recognized that John Paul was smitten right away.

Jessica | 156 comments Noah is great, I am excited for him to get his own book. I hope it's good!

I liked John-Paul and Avery and I was happy when he didn't stick to his blonde bimbo theory after the facts presented themselves. We all make snap judgements, whether we want to or not, but the key is to recognize that and quickly revise judgements to match reality as best we can.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments Noah's book is great. It's on my "Favorites" Shelf. I think we are all guilty of making snap judgments based on erroneous first impressions.
