I was far less into Doctor Who books last week than I thought I'd be. So, I didn't finish many of last week's stack. Oh well. This week I am leaning towards focusing on murder mysteries, I'll carry over my library books, and the books I've already started from last week, too.
Carry overs:
Eden Close
Doctor Who: Instruments of Darkness
The Waiter
Homegoing
White Oleander
A Walk in the Woods: Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail
The Game of Kings

Long Lap 3 TBR:
Payback (new library book)
A Horse Walks into a Bar (new library book)
Watchman
Nursing Homes Are Murder
For the Love of Parvati
Strongwood: A Crime Dossier
Evil in the 1st House
The Real Macaw
Thornyhold
Airs Above the Ground
The Final Curtain
Murder on Insel Poel
Holy Terror in the Hebrides
A Real Basket Case
The Rubber Band
The Red Box
Too Many Clients
Might as Well Be Dead
The Final Deduction

Jana Eichhorn | 299 comments Week 3 of Trying to Read all of the Library Books that Came In at Once:

The 1619 Project: A New Origin Story
Sex, Murder and a Double Latte
Lessons in Chemistry
The Messy Lives of Book People

I'm trying to get these all read and returned before the Readathon start time, but I'm struggling with a messy brain that won't let me focus on anything longer than a damned recipe right now, so that may not be realistic lol Wish me luck, y'all!

Ann A (readerann) | 867 comments I ended up with 626 pages in Long Lap 3. Not close to my 1,000-page goal, but that's ok. ANY reading is good reading!

message 10: by Cathy (last edited Apr 23, 2023 04:13AM) (new)

Cathy (cathepsut) | 567 comments True, any reading is good. It shouldn‘t be about who read to the most pages, although all these challenges suggest otherwise. In this lap I read 534 pages and listened to 3 hours 57 minutes of audio. And that‘s fine, I had a good week. (Message 3 above for details)
