Fairy Tale Retellings! discussion

I am SO HAPPY! I had this on my to read list and I got it for free during a HUGE fairytale sale and am so excited to read it for the first time with you guys!

I finished this book! I haven't read a new fairy tale in a long time, and this was very refreshing. I thoroughly enjoyed this take on the story and was cheering for Elliot all the way. There were twists in the story, but not to the point where there was a lot of drama. I enjoyed the balance between the focus on relationships and adventure. Both main characters grew a bunch and became more mature and insightful by the end of the book. Absolutely would reread it.

Personally I did not finish it. It just didn't capture my attention.

I get that. It’s not super packed with action. I enjoyed the relationship and the mystery. Thanks for taking the time to still share your thoughts.
