Fans of Interracial Romance discussion

Hello,

I am out of nice interracial YA romance books to read, could you help me find some titles with a 16- 17- 18 year old black girl lead ?

Some titles resembling those :











I am looking for stories where love is an important part the plot and where heterosexual characters connect in a real and physical way. If you recently (or in the past) encountered this type of story, please let me know.

YA is not my wheelhouse at all, but I have read a few:

- Science Fiction, very good. First book in a series.

- Angsty but good.

- VERY Angsty/heavy. TW: school violence. I did not love this mainly because of the heavy themes. I wasn't in the headspace for it, but the writing is excellent.

- This book reminded me a LOT of Birdie. But it was waay more angsty. I liked Birdie better.

- Mostly thriller suspense, but the protagonists are teenagers. The MMC and his GF are a bwwm couple.

- Have not read this one, but I have had it on my TBR based on some reviews.

"The Sound of Stars" by Alechia Dow
"Blood Like Magic", and "Blood Like Fate" by Liselle Sambury

"Legendborn" and "Bloodmarked" by Tracy Deonn
"Amari and the Night Brothers" and "Amari and the Great Game by B. B. Alston
"The Gilded Ones" and "The Merciless Ones" by Namina Forna
"The Belles" and "The Everlasting Rose" by Dhonielle Clayton

I think the Belle Morte series has a multicultural cast of characters. Also, Stealing Infinity may offer something of a nice YA consideration. I would suggest these for an older YA reader, just because of the mature themes and level of darkness and violence. For early YA readers, The Marvellers, Amari and the Night Brothers, and City Spies are good bets on series reads.
