I love Alpha Male books club discussion

All I can remember about it is the Hero's name is Payne and I think the book starts out with the heroine running from two goons and the Hero pulls her into his tattoo shop. I think . Hopefully this will jog someone's memory, it is driving me nuts. Thanks for your help!!
