Are you wanting to read at our own pace or have a schedule?

I think reading at our own pace would be best, especially considering how long the book is. Not to mention I'm reading a bunch of other stuff, so schedule, not so much. Though I'm hoping I can get through it quickly.

Awesome! The more the merrier! I literally just started, so I can't say much about it yet. :P

I'm going to be starting it in a couple of hrs. I wanted to finish Beautiful Oblivion first since I was just about done with it.

How do you guys planing the read, per chapter or amount of pages?

we're just going our own pace. I'm doing 6 chapters a day otherwise I'll finish it really quick.

The Hunter chapters 1-8
I'm so glad YA has gotten better over the yrs. The writing makes me think of when I was 10 and addicted to The Fear Street books lol. But the story is interesting. (view spoiler)[ I like how they will have to fight each of their nightmares to survive. Its a little cliche that the evil immortal guy is in love with the human girl but I like the twist on it. Plus it'll be kinda cool to see what each person is afraid of.
I don't understand why Aubrey lied about her nightmare. What did she hope to gain? (hide spoiler)]

Actually I think I'll do 8 chapters. They're pretty short. I added it up and there's 48 chapters total.

The Hunter chapters 9-16
The writing never got much better but I didn't expect it to.
(view spoiler)[ Since most of the story focuses on Jenny I didn't really care when Summer died. The how attraction thing with Zach is eww. I honestly expected this to be all a dream and she had actually went crazy especially after Zach says it runs in their family. Turns out he's wrong about that so I'm thinking they're able to do magic? I'm wondering how she believes that locking Julian in a closet will get her out of that promise? (hide spoiler)] Of course it doesn't and that's why there's 2 more books. I think the story could've stopped here and been good.

The Chase chapters 1-8
(view spoiler)[ This whole group clearly isn't dealing well with what went down. And what is up with Tom? He just decides it not even worth fighting for? Seems like they've been together 10 yrs already.
Wonder why the shadow people keep saying famished. And if we'll ever find out what exactly happened to P.C. and Slug? They had to had made it all the way to Jenny's nightmare or at least one of them did. (hide spoiler)] Has anyone else started yet?

I think I'm going to have to pass on this one :( All my assignments and college portfolios are due next week so I'm extra busy. It was going to be a re-read for me anyway so I may get to read it again some other time. I hope you all enjoy it :)

The Chase chapters 9-16
I didn't like the second half to this one. This went super fast and then it was over. (view spoiler)[I especially felt bad for Michael. He was so scared to go to the bathroom and it got him there just like he thought it would. (hide spoiler)] In a way I understand why Julian won't give up but its getting a little old.

The Kill chapters 1-8
I'm getting to the point where I can't stand the writing anymore but I want to know how the story ends. (view spoiler)[I actually started to fill sorry for Julian but then decided I probably shouldn't. As much pain as he's called everyone he deserves some himself.
I'm wondering if everyone that died in a shadow game will be in the park? (hide spoiler)]

(hide spoiler)] Although I never did understand if he loved Jenny so much why did he seem to be constantly trying to make her hate him?

I'm so far behind in this. I'm only a couple chapters in, but I can definitely see what you mean about it taking you back to way back when, reading Fear Street. I got that feeling with the writing, too. It's got me interested in what's coming next, but I just haven't been able to stay hooked on it.

I'm going to finish up a couple other things and see if I can get back to this.

You're honestly not missing much imo. I didn't like the story all that much until halfway through the last book.

LoL, figures. I have it checked out until April 9th, so even if I don't finish it this month, I might get to it beginning of April. We'll see how my other books/challenges go...it sounds promising, but again, not really keeping me hooked. Hoping that changes as I get further in.
