The marriage of Dylan Buchanan and Kate MacKenna brings about the joining of two family dynasties with ancient history dating back to Scotland. Did you enjoy the inclusion of family history as part of the story plot in this book? Did it work for you? Why or why not?

I liked it. It was a Scottish Hatefields and McCoys. There are some feuds that go on long after people forgot the reason in the first place.

I liked the Professor trying to draw Jordan into the feud.

I liked the history; with the professor -- as he showed up later, I did wonder if the history was a product of his scheming imagination.

I am a fan of Julie Garwood's Historical Romances and I love the inclusion of the history of the MacKenna and Buchanan families.

Me too, Anita. This made me want to go back and re-read some of Julie Garwood's historicals.

I liked that Jordan read the stories to Noah and he liked the violent bed time stories.

Since this is my first Garwood series, I'm going to read some of her historicals.

Her Historicals are some of my favorites.

I loved it! I'm reading her now.

I thought perhaps there really was a lost treasure and that was the reason for the murders.

In one of her historicals there is a lost treasure, but I don't remember which one because I read them BG, before Goodreads.
