Wow Robin - that is WAY more extreme than I had in mind (SAME stock photos?!), but would certainly count for our prompt.

Dixie (dixietenny) | 1081 comments Concentric circles seem to be used a lot on book covers. I found several lists of them from various sources (put "concentric circles book covers" into a search engine). There's even a Listopia of them, on which I found several books that are on my shelves.

You can find that here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

I do need to update from the last few polls though.

Yes, please!

message 9: by Karin (new)

Karin | 746 comments https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/2... is one already up called Books About Old People that might help, but not all of them are senior citizens, so not sure if you want to use that.

message 10: by Karin (new)

Karin | 746 comments There are so very many books that have been on my tbr for over a year that I'm not even going to add something to the listopia!

Thanks Karin. I'm always looking for good links to add to the weekly threads when we post them in October.

Dixie (dixietenny) | 1081 comments I added No! I Don't Want to Join a Book Club: Diary of a Sixtieth Year to the senior citizen listopia. It's about a 60yo, and being 64 myself and definitely not a senior citizen yet, that might look iffy. But it's the first of a four-volume series that covers retirement years so I think it's a case of being a book about aging, becoming a senior citizen and learning to fit into that new way of life. I thought they were clever and funny so I'm considering that they would work for that prompt.

Senior citizen has so many definitions, doesn't it?

message 14: by JoJo (new)

JoJo Kirkman (jojo2013) | 315 comments One question: should i put all my books on my TBR that i could use for each category on the coinciding listopia? Or just my pick for that category?
Also, to add a book, i am voting for it. Is that correct, can i vote for others books as well?

You can totally approach the listopias however you want. I typically vote for books I want to read, using it like a planning tool. Some people add books that they've already read and recommend. And yes, to add a book, you're voting for it, and you can vote for books that have already been added as well.

Thanks for this information, Emily. I didn't know how it worked either.

The only requirement is to only add books that you *know* works for the prompt (rather than just guessing or assuming). Otherwise, you can approach it as you'd like.

Joy D | 711 comments Are there listopias for week 17? I could have sworn I added to them but now they seem to have vanished?
