The winner of our poll!

This is a staple mg book from a very popular series which I have never actually read! I’m intrigued to see if it deserves the hype or if it is mainly due to nostalgia from everyone’s collective childhood experience of reading these books whilst growing up.

I'm going to read this one this month! I already bought my copy of this book:)

I just started it last night! I love the cover, the new design one I mean. Very intense and pretty!

I’ve almost finished chapter one and my thoughts so far are that there are so many characters and they all have different descriptions that I can’t keep it straight in my head. There’s like 4 groups and each group has 10 characters. The prologue itself has like 8 different cats in it😂 I’m just going with the flow right now and have no idea who anyone is when they appear in the scene.

I'm glad you like the book! I also like the cover of the book too and I think it was cool. I read the first chapter of the book and it got my interest so I think I'm going to love this book:D

Eek. Where did July go? Have 2 other books in front of it. But will try to fit it in, since I love cats!

I got about 2 chapters in and then my focus drifted! Something about the cat aspect is unappealing but I think if I stick with it then once the action starts and the actual plot too, I’ll be more interested. The descriptions for the cats are very confusing but the dialogue is alright.

Also, I wouldn’t mind doing book 2 as next month’s book of the month! Depends on how many other people are interested an on board. I am hoping to finish this one by the end of the month so we’ll see for me too.

I know, the start of the month was slow and now it’s going by so fast! Hope you enjoy this one if you manage to get round to it!
