SarahKat | 6224 comments This thread is to discuss Exit Strategy, the fourth book in the Murderbot Diaries series by Martha Wells.

Pages: 176 pages

Length: 1 month (August)

Participants: Caterina, Desiré, Rebecca, Beth

Everyone reads at their own pace during a Buddy Read. Because participants can be at different parts of the book at different times, it is extremely important to mark spoilers so that the book is not ruined for someone who is not as far along as others!!!

Mark spoilers by placing {spoiler} before the text and {/spoiler} after the text but use the < and > instead of the { and }.

Desiré (desiremorebooks) | 587 comments Got this one from the library today! Hope to be able to discuss more this month, I'm really enjoying this series.

Caterina | 570 comments I am also reading this one now!

If this series was made into a movie, who would you want to see playing the roles? Viola Davis for Dr Mensah?

Favorite quote: “Mensah said I could learn to do anything I wanted. I learned to leave.”

Caterina | 570 comments I loved this one too!

My favorite parts are also the moments when Murderbot learns to examine human emotions. There's something so heartfelt about those scenes and I wish there were more in this book. IMO, there were too many fight scenes in this book. I did like the Mensah arc; I'm almost wondering where does the next book go from here. This could have been the perfect end for the series.
