What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

This just came to me in a memory and as someone who had all their kids books mostly given away by my mom (grrr) I’d love to repurchase! This was a book series I was given by my math tutor in the early 2000s every time I did a great job! I remember being obsessed with this series because each book was about a different kitten and their name / story. I believe one of the books had a kitten named snowball so I’m hoping this triggers a memory for someone else that might know what I’m talking about, because google sure doesn’t. :’) it was a chapter book series and had a cute kitten of course on the front. The art on the front was always more realistic kitten then cartoon. I feel like it was a super collectible series so hopefully others knew of this and had them too, if I can think of anymore info I’ll post here- but so far this is all I can recall! The reason I have it listed as a specific book is because I’m hoping to find this one in particular and in general if someone can figure out the series and author then I’ll be set! Thanks for any help, you guys helped me the last time when looking for a hard to find kids book.

Could it be the Magic Kitten series? A Christmas Surprise

I believe the year would’ve been 2001 or 2002 as I was still quite young doing math tutoring so I’m gonna say there

Could it be from Ellen Miles? She wrote the Puppy Place and Kitty Corner books. There isn't one about a cat named snowball, but there is one about a dog named snowball, so maybe you are combining the two in your head?

Otherwise the only other major series i can find at the moment is from Holly Webb but i think they are too new
