Reading with Style discussion

Read 10 books by 10 different authors where each would qualify for one of the below RwS styles. (See below for the definition of these styles.) Some books may fit multiple styles, but you will designate only one for each book. Your books will fit at least four of the styles, with no more than 5 of any one style. Example: Four Lost in Translation, three Non-western, two Aged, one Young.

You may complete Celebration of Styles 3 times.

A few notes:

I. You cannot claim regular style points for any book you read for Celebration of Styles.

II. All books read for this sub-challenge must be at least 100 pages, based on the most popular edition.

Lost in Translation: Broaden your horizons and reading habits by reading a translation of a book that was originally published in a language other than your native tongue.

Non-Western: read a book by author born and citizen of/residing in a non-Western country: Mexico, Central America, South America, Africa, and Asia (which includes Russia & all former USSR countries).

1001: Read any book from the 1001 group bookshelf.

Canon: Distinguishing literature from popular fiction is an imperfect science, but we're trying anyway. Read a work of literature in the Western canon to complete a task. Not-a-Novel: Explore new forms by reading short story collections, non-fiction, plays, and poetry collections.

Aged: Read a book by an experienced author. Your books are by an author who has reached the age of 75. This includes living authors born in 1948 or earlier. (For the purpose of this challenge, we will use only birth/death years; exact dates will not be considered.)

Young: Read a book by a youthful author. Your books are by an author, living or dead, who is age 50 or younger. This includes living authors born 1973 or later. (For the purpose of this challenge, we will use only birth/death years; exact dates will not be considered.)
