Sherri | 15 comments In case anyone is interested, Ascension Press has this offering:

Starting October 2, 2023, join Fr. Gregory Pine, O.P. and Fr. Jacob Bertrand Janczyk, O.P. as they read and explain The Confessions of St. Augustine.
In each 20-30 mins episode, St. Augustine shows us with bold vulnerability that our weakness is not a barrier to holiness.

According to my reading plan, there are 60 episodes.

Faith Flaherty (contemprisma) | 56 comments I have more understanding of Francis de Sales "Introductioin to the Devout Life", from Ascension's first series. These two priests actually read the text for you, then discuss it. So why buy the book? They are reading it for you. In fact, don't you think it would be interesting to buy a different edition of "The Confessions of St. Augustine" and listen to Ascension's viewpoint? But whatever, reading these earlier Christian texts brings one closer to Jesus.
