Reading German Books in 2020 discussion

Amazingly, I "leveled up" to Seewinkel after reading 5 books this year. Here are the next few books I have in mind:
- der Buchspazierer by Carsten Henn
- Im Westen nichts Neues by Remarque
- Solange die Welt noch schläft by Petra Durst-Benning
- der Vorleser by Bernhard Schlink
- Tintenherz or another book by Cornelia Funke

Some of these may not be read in 2023. We'll see how it goes!

6. Der Buchspazierer by Carsten Henn. Part of October's Group Read.

7. Die Kleine Hexe by Otfried Preußler. I can see why this is an enduring classic of Kinderlit. Charming and funny. One chapter involves ethnic stereotyping related to Fastnacht costumes.

8. Die Verwandlung/The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. Read for Novella November.
