Reenbean | 39 comments Amazingly, I "leveled up" to Seewinkel after reading 5 books this year. Here are the next few books I have in mind:
- der Buchspazierer by Carsten Henn
- Im Westen nichts Neues by Remarque
- Solange die Welt noch schläft by Petra Durst-Benning
- der Vorleser by Bernhard Schlink
- Tintenherz or another book by Cornelia Funke

Some of these may not be read in 2023. We'll see how it goes!

Reenbean | 39 comments 6. Der Buchspazierer by Carsten Henn. Part of October's Group Read.

Reenbean | 39 comments 7. Die Kleine Hexe by Otfried Preußler. I can see why this is an enduring classic of Kinderlit. Charming and funny. One chapter involves ethnic stereotyping related to Fastnacht costumes.

Reenbean | 39 comments 8. Die Verwandlung/The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. Read for Novella November.
