Around 2020 I read a book where a girl who was living with her mother was a streamer online, and played a video game involving space and VR for money. Her mother and her were pretty poor, and one day she meets this boy while streaming and he's super happy because he knows the streamer from her videos. I'm pretty sure they fall in love online, and there are these people who hack people I think. The girl gets abused in real life, and she asks the boy she likes to send a photo of him so she knows that he is not one of the people who were mean. He sends a video he films with his friends because he just be like that sometimes. Eventually they meet up at VidCon or a convention similar to that.

no, sorry. I do remember that there was part where the girl got the boy a VR headset because he was playing the game on a computer.
