In the Cozy Mystery group I am in, they had a mini challenge that included a challenge about waffles/breakfast. This book just came out in February, and met that challenge as well. So, I figured I would give it a try.
As cozies go, it is a decent mystery. But, it really does not do a very good job of sending of clues to allow the reader to feel like they are also a detective.
However, the characters are very well written, and the dialogue has a lot of accent wording that allows the reader to truly hear what they are saying.
There are many other positives and negatives I could give, but that would spoil the story plot, so I will just say I gave it four stars.
