Charmaine Edwards | 5 comments I’m quite the GOT, ASOIAF, and HOTD fan and I’ve been desperately chasing after that same kind of vibe with other books, only to find that there aren’t that many dragon fantasy books? I find it so surprising. I know Fourth Wing is all the hype rn (the mixed reviews have me wondering whether or not it’ll be for me, maybe someone can convince me to pick it up?) but I was wondering if anyone else had any dragon fantasy recommendations!! <3

Sara I haven't read this book, so I don't know if it is good but someone recommened it, so maybe: It is called Fireborne by Rosaria Munda. I don't really know what it is about but you can look it up. If you read it, tell me what you think cause I might pick it up too.

Annabella | 24 comments Either you love Fourth Wing, or you realise that the romance is underdeveloped. I kind of love it, because the dragons are amazing. If you're not sure about it, maybe wait till it's released in paperback so it's cheaper, but you should definitely try it.

As for other dragon recs, I'm on the third Throne of Glass and it kind of has dragons (I don't wanna spoil if you haven't read) and from what I've heard, they get more prominent in the rest of the books in the series. I highly recommend this series!!!!

Claire Scimeca | 1 comments The book Scorpio Rising by Fibi Marie is a really cool fantasy novel and the first of a series she is writing. The main character descends from dragon riders, and they are thought to be extinct in the world, but they make a comeback. I highly recommend!

I highly recommend! Fourth Wing Definitely worthwhile reading! I really loved the character and world building, Rebecca Yarros has done a great job writing it!

Aila | 31 comments Also im surprised with all the 4th wing talk that Dragonriders of pern isn’t mentioned more. Its not romance heavy but its like, the og dragon series.

Oh and it’s not high fantasy but like… alternative history fantasy. If you want dragons, temeraire/his majesty’s dragon by Naomi novik. It’s a “what if everyone had a dragon fleet” during the napoleonic wars. Master and commander/horatio hornblower with dragons. Lots of traveling the world and fighting in wars and whatnot with your bbf who is a dragon.

Kate (getlitwithkate) | 6 comments The Dragon Mage by ML Spencer was fantastic! Fireborne series was also very good. Two of my favorite reads so far this year.
