It's December already!
Our genres for December are classics and short stories.
The short stories can be from any era and can include legends and fairy tales.
Classics should be published before 1975, for the first time. If the first part of series fits our time frame, the sequels count too.
Children's classics work too.
Happy reading, everyone!

Glennis | 172 comments I had an easy time of the language twists and turns on the Kindle. It helped a LOT!! With that...I've reached the goal of a 3rd adjustment for 2023!!

I've just finished a collection of stories-The Purcell Papers by J. Sheridan Le Fanu. A couple of them are really spooky!

I like that one, Cindy.

I've just finished a silly satire, Rain in the Doorway by Thorne Smith and recently finished a more serious book, Hadji Murád by Leo Tolstoy.

Brenda | 448 comments I revisited a children's classic and short story, The Cricket in Times Square. It stuck with me as a child. I enjoyed reading it again.

I read that book for the first time as an adult. It's a cute story.

Brenda | 448 comments I finished December with a classic that has been on my TBR for years: The Three Musketeers.
Also a couple short stories:
Mistletoe Murders 2 is a cute audible original cozy mystery
The Slow Regard of Silent Things
