READ: A Death in Summer (Quirke #4) by Benjamin Black. I read #1 a few years ago.
September:
CURRENTLY READING: Cruel and Unusual (Kay Scarpetta #4) by Patricia Cornwell. A series I dip into when they find me. I’m looking forward to the next one, The Body Farm, which has been on my shelf since 2009, released, replaced and picked up again. I now have 3 copies on my BC shelf, none of which is the copy I’m reading now. Very peculiar!

To successfully complete the challenge, you need to read at least one book per month. Anything beyond that is completely up to you.
My "big goal" is to finish the Alex Cross series. I have 16 books left to read in it, but I will probably toss in a sequel or two and a trilogy just to avoid book burnout. (Alex Cross overdose.)

I’ve just updated my list. I seem to only be semi-serious as I skip around series, depending on what turns up at BC meetings. Also, I’ve read more than one a month, but didn’t read any series in May and June. Whoops!

In fact, I'm liking it so much that I think we should do it again next year.
Any interest?

And even if you didn't complete it, I hope you had fun, and it inspired you to (maybe) read some books that you wouldn't have read otherwise.
The whole point of my challenges is to "get 'em read and get 'em moving" so Well Done to ALL of you who played in the stacks with me.
