caterspotaters | 56 comments I finished the challenge. This is my list. I attempted to read only female authors. I used titles for two letters (Possession, A.S. Byatt; Quicksand, Nella Larsen). Also, I completed two letters with the author’s nationality (Ukrainian, Irène Némirovsky; Zimbabwean, Tsitsi Dangarembga). For X and Y, I did have to use male authors (Cao Xueqin and Yevgeny Zamyatin); but, I found editions that were translated by women (Gladys Yang and Mirra Ginsburg, respectively). It was another great challenge! I cannot wait to see what the challenge will be next year!

Wow! You've increased the difficulty in your challenge, choosing females only. I admire that.

Bob Kaufman (bobkaufman) | 680 comments Finished today. My 'Q' book was in a pinch as I used the one word title of the book. No double dips, no re-reads. Lots of fun. Thanks for the challenge.
