I'm looking forward to The Fury by Alex Michaelides
I liked The Silent Patient, haven't read The Maidens yet because I heard bad things, so I hope his new one is more like the first.
Ugh, I really didn't like The Maidens and it has put me off trying anything else from them. It will be interesting to see what others say about the new release from them

I just finished The Heiress. If you've enjoyed her previous work, you'll like this one as well. Lots of twists along the way and a bunch of awful people. I thought it was really good.

I don't think I have read anything from her before.
Ahh...well, it seems like she doesn't believe there are any truly good people in the world. lol She loves to add twists and give her characters a less than moral side to them.

Currently reading

This month I'll also read these and possibly others, but these are buddy reads:

I agree. I wish new editions weren't included in the new releases list, but sometimes a book is published in one country then it's quite a while before it's published in another. I'm not sure how they'd distinguish those.

I have already read The Heiress and am starting No One Can Know today. I also have a copy of The Expectant Detectives to read. It looks like it could be fun.
I'm also interested in First Lie Wins and maybe All Rhodes Lead Here and Only If You're Lucky.

I read a sample of The Fury and I didn't really love it, so I ended up removing it from my TBR. I have too many other books that I really want to read.

Oh no, that's the only January release that I have on my TBR so far. I will still try it out but with lower expectations.

I agree..."
Yeah, I think the only time I'd be okay with this is if it were a book in translation. Like if it was published years ago not in English, then published recently translated in English.

I've seen a lot of positive reviews too, so maybe you'll love it. If you read it, let us know what you think of it.

All Rhodes Lead Here is a good example as it was first published in 2021... ;)

I saw that too. Oddly, it is also available on NetGalley as if it was a new release. I'm not sure why that is.

Reading right now

I have not gotten Kindle First Reads in a while, but this month I picked up

I am also planning on reading

I agree..."
Oh, yes, good point.
I read The Women and it was excellent.
I have The Bad Weather Friend and Last Night through Kindle First.
I want to read The Teacher, The Phoenix Crown, Lone Wolf, Sisters of Fortune, and Where Butterflies Wander.
I'm also interested in The Boy Who Cried Bear, but it is second in a spinoff series and I need to read at least the first of the series first.
There are a couple others that are on my 'maybe' list as well of a couple that are new editions of previously released books that I still want to read. Never enough time.

There are quite a few I want to read publishing in April. I had to stop looking at the list after the first 100. lol
I am currently reading Darling Girls and it is so good. I'm about half way through. I also have Every Time I Go on Vacation, Someone Dies to read soon. It looks like it'll be a funny one.
Speaking of funny, I really want to read Funny Story, Just for the Summer, and Nosy Neighbors. I have a copy of She's Not Sorry and I got The Lost Letters of Aisling from Kindle First.
The Familiar and The Reappearance of Rachel Price both look interesting too. I just found Sociopath: A Memoir on that list and added it to my TBR. It looks really interesting.

Those are 2 of my go to authors
I also just read

and I have

Now, I am also interested in

Vicki - Daughter of Mine and Never Come Back are both on my radar as well. The only reason I didn't request Never Come Back is because I didn't read the first book in the series. I've been considering it anyway.
I also have A Calamity of Souls and Table for Two: Fictions that I'm keeping my eye on.
Thanks for the giveaway info for Sociopath. I'll give it a try too!

I have an early copy of If Something Happens to Me, which I plan to start tomorrow. I want to read The Paradise Problem
I also have interest in The Last Murder at the End of the World, which I expect will be in my May book club box, and The Bootlegger's Daughter, which was my Kindle freebie last month.
Of course, as I'm scrolling through I'm finding a bunch of others that look good too.

PLUS Ruth Ware has a new one

Stephen King

I have both preordered!

I have read Lore Olympus: Volume Six (released this month) as well as Lore Olympus: Volume Seven (released in october) since they are both available on webtoon.

You'll have to let me know what you think about If Something Happens to Me, Kristie. I've read one other Alex Finlay book and enjoyed it so I was considering trying this one but i'm on the fence about it.
I also want to read the new Christina Lauren romance and will definitely be reading the new Ruth Ware.
I've also heard that [book:When Among Crows is good so I might check that one out as well.
I'm really trying to avoid new releases and read all the books currently on my kindle (some that have been there for way too long) but it's getting harder and harder.

And

But I want to read

And

I also read The Rom-Commers and gave it 4 stars. I recently finished The Nature of Disappearing and thought it was excellent. I haven't written my review yet, but might go with 5 stars.
I have Tangled Up in You to read starting in the next couple of days. My book box has chosen A Novel Love Story, so I'll be reading the eventually too. I got Let's Pretend This Will Work from the Kindle First program, but haven't read it yet.
I want to read Summer Romance and Shelterwood because I've read previous books by the authors and enjoyed them. I also have some interest in Out on a Limb (although I just noticed that it was actually first published last year).
There are a few others that look interesting, but these are the ones that have made it onto my TBR. I need to stop looking before I end up adding more. lol

I also noticed that there is a new Mercy Thompson coming out, Winter Lost. It's funny that I still get excited to see them, but I stopped reading them a while back. This is #14 and I ended on 10. It's a great series, but I think I burnt out on it. I may revisit it sometime.

This one is fine I guess 🤷♀️ (not bad but not on par with the rest) The Housemaid Is Watching by Freida McFadden
I've read The Lost Story and enjoyed it. I'm really looking forward to The Briar Club. I love Kate Quinn's writing. I got Broken Bayou from Kindle First. It looks really good.
There looks to be a lot of good books that I was unaware of being published this month. I'm going to take a closer look at the list later. On a side note - I'm planning to buy Maria: A Novel of Maria von Trapp for my mother. I think she'll really enjoy it.

September is looking like a great month for new releases. I am currently reading Here One Moment. I love Moriarty's writing, but this one has been a bit slow for me. Still interesting, just not my favorite of hers so far. I also have The Borrowed Life of Frederick Fife to read. It looks to be a sweet, heartwarming read. I hope it doesn't end up being too sad.
I am really looking forward to Somewhere Beyond the Sea. I thought the first book was sweet and I'm hoping this second book lives up to it. I'm also really looking forward to We Solve Murders. It's going to be a new series by Osman.
I am getting The Life Impossible and The Lightning Bottles in book subscription boxes later in the year, so I'll likely be reading them both next year.
Nothing Like the Movies looks really cute. I hope to read this one. I did not read the first one yet. I just added The Booklover's Library from the list. It just sounds really good.
I've heard really good things about The Swimmer, but I haven't added it to my list just yet.

I'm excited for Variation. I love Yarros's writing. I plan to read Teen Titans: Starfire this month
I'm interested in A Very Bad Thing. I got it through Kindle First Reads. I also got Grave Talk. I expect to receive The Memory Dress in a book box soon. I love the cover. :) I'm also interested in Heavy Are the Stones.
I also have some interest in Under the Mistletoe, which is a collection of short stories. I only saw the one by Ali Hazelwood in the list, but this is the collection.
Pictures of You sounds good. I just found it in this list. This list is dangerous for me. I always end up adding to my TBR.
I already read The Sunflower House. I thought it was really good.
