This was one of my favorites! I am really glad this book won as I plan on reading more books by this author. This took me on an emotional journey I don't know that I was prepared for, but very much so enjoyed. I would definitely recommend this book to others!

BeautifulMe (beautifulme616) | 4 comments This book was beautifully written. It was quite emotional you could feel what the characters where going through. However I couldn't help but feel that the ending was a bit rushed and lacking.

Quinty (Taylor's Version) (queenq) | 589 comments Wow this was not at all what I was expecting. This book made me cry a lot the last quarter lol. I loved it, definitely plan on reading more by this author

Celena | 11 comments Okay, I read this last summer for a YA Literature class, but I couldn't pass up commenting because this was a freaking phenomenal book! I loved the stories, characters, and how it all unfolds/comes together.

Noor and Sal are such compelling characters. Of course, I prefer Noor just because all her characters goes through. But I also like the complexity of Sal's characters. We see what he does and ask why would he takes the risks her does, but when we see from the past's perspective, it makes sense.

However, his mother's POV was probably my favorite. Especially, when we see the conclusion of it.

This was a very good book. Normally, I abhor assigned reading but this was a joy to read.
