In the early 2,000's Ricardo Pinto wrote the trilogy, Stone Dance of the Chameleon.

Then in 2020 he extensively reworked and rewrote it as a seven book series.

He reused the titles, but the book The Chosen (1999, book 1 in the trilogy) is not the same as The Chosen (2020, book 2 in the seven book series). Same goes for The Standing Dead and The Third God.

The combined books should be separated and there should be a new series, Stone Dance of the Chameleon, Second Edition.
