6. My Effin' Life

7. War and Peace"
I've never read."
This was my first time also. I decided that my big book this year would be Bleak House, so I put that one on my challenge list...but then decided this month to tackle War and Peace.
I did enjoy it, but there were two epilogues that really took the wind out of my sails. I heard that you don't have to read them, but I did, and now I agree with the others. Not needed. :-)

Maybe someday, but maybe I'm too old now to take on the challenge.. :)

No, never too old...but you definitely are reading books that are better suited for yourself and you should not stop that progress. :-)

12. Before the Coffee Gets Cold / Tales from the Café / Before Your Memory Fades
13. Blackout
14. Rise: A Newsflesh Collection

My goal was to read at least one tome per month, and I'm exceeding that. It does help that I'm reading a lot of children's books as well...balance is important. :-)

16. The Stranger Beside Me: Ted Bundy: The Shocking Inside Story
17. Bleak House
I cannot believe that I read both War and Peace and Bleak House in the same year! :-)

24. The Eye of the World
I think it's my last one, but we'll see. :-)
My goal was to read at least one tome every month...and I did it! (Although most versions of In the Likely Event are less than 500 pages, I did pick up the large print edition from my library which was over 500 pages. I didn't do that to win my challenge...I did it because there was a wait list for the regular print editions, but I guess it does count.)
24 tomes is pretty good, especially with one being War and Peace! Yay!
