Lawyer and former Navy SEAL Michael Buchanan arrives at the station to represent Grace. The sparks and banter begin. When it becomes clear she needs a protector, he volunteers against her wishes. Are Michael and Grace a good pairing in your eyes? Why or why not?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I didn't see any chemistry between these two. She's still upset that he ignored her at her sister's wedding. I'm not sure what he thinks of her at this point...other than how beautiful she is.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I agree with Robin. I like both characters, but the chemistry wasn't there for me.

I actually liked these two as a couple! I think alot of it is tied up in the humorous exchanges between them. I found their banter to be funny - maybe more so than sexy.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments They are a classic example of the "opposites attract" trope, and I really liked them. Isabel wants to take care of her own problems, but she really does need a protector. She is still hurting from Michael ignoring her at the wedding and I think that is because of the crush she had on him. He was the last person she wants to be around right now.

Jessica | 156 comments Yes, I agree the exchanges were meant to be humorous. It really worked for me when Michael chased her down in Scotland and she opened up the door and said, "There's just no getting away from you, is there?" In fact, that may be my favorite line in the whole book!
