Set in UK: Poppy Jenkins by Clare Ashton;
Hot for Boss: Beowulf for Cretins by Ann McMan

I really enjoyed reading about the beginning of Olivia and Kate's journey together. They both have such a beautiful and unabashed way of expressing their feelings to each other. There is no doubt in my mind that Olivia is a very competent lawyer; however, I did not get a "multi-Oscar-wining actress" vibe from Kate. Maybe that is the point; Ashton wants readers to view Kate as a down-to-earth person going through a messy period in her life. Olivia's character develops the most through self-realization and her relationships with her mom and Charlotte. Speaking of Geeta, the book ends with a cliffhanger that I cannot wait to read.

Action & Adventure: The Hired Blade by JC Rycroft;
Grumpy/Sunshine: The Delicate Things We Make by Milena McKay;
