Chapter 20 June and Eamon couldn't help but feel an attraction to each other. He seemed to be familiar with her needs and June to his. June was trying to understand how she could leave him? Annie? What happened? June wondered about Eamon's ability to seek revenge to anyone who who would hurt her. June asked to help in the field with Eamon, he denied her that chance. June asked to go to the Faire and again, Eamon said no but later changed his mind.
June went to her bedroom to look at that piece of paper with the dates, 1912, 1946, 1950 and 1951. She was trying figure out the significance of these numbers. If she was only allowed three times to cross. Why are there four years? 1951...
June and Eamon are going to the Faire. What could possibly happen there? Would the town people accept her back? Could Eamon handle being with her, his wife, in public? Was it safe? Would Caleb be there? Would something else be revealed at the Faire? Those dates...what do they mean?
