Jeannie McBride comes clean to Sam about their real findings in the Fitzgerald case. She explained that they were trying to protect Skip who at the time was near death and they didn’t want his reputation damaged. Sam suspended both of them. Did she do the right thing or should she have given them a pass?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments She did the right thing. They found important information to solve a case. Although, I'm not sure Sam did the right thing with the information either.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments This whole sub-plot has been troubling from the beginning. No one seems to care that a little boy died. I get it that his brother was at fault, but a little boy died. Sam was right to suspend them, but that is just going to open this all up to more scrutiny.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments She absolutely did the right thing. They lied to her and that is 100% unacceptable. She cannot work with detectives she cannot trust. They learned their lesson and will never do it again.

I agree with Anita that this case is problematic. I do not like the idea that a murder was covered up and that the killer got away with it. This is not justice.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I agree with both of you. An accidental death is still a crime. I didn’t like this even after Sam’s talk with her father.

I agree she did the right thing. It was not their call to make and lying made it worse.
