I visited Spain again about ten years ago on a group tour by bus. Our guide was great and I saw a lot. I especially enjoyed Madrid and Granada. At the end of the group tour I also went out to the island of Majorca on my own for a few days, which is an easy flight from Madrid. On my first trip I could speak just a bit of Spanish. By my next trip my Spanish was better and I could talk with people more. They speak mostly Catalan on Majorca but everyone speaks Castilian Spanish as well.

I've travelled quite a bit in France and Spain, and out of those two countries I'd have to pick on Carcassone (France) and San Sebastian (Spain) as my favourite towns.
I only spent a week in Vietnam, where I went to Saigon and the Mekong Delta, but I would love to go back and see more. The food and the people are amazing.
West Cork in Ireland is a very special place for me, as is Orkney in Scotland.

Sounds like such wonderful adventures! Thank you for sharing!

That sounds so wonderful - thank you for sharing!

It sounds like I need to add Kyoto to my travel bucket list! Oh, I have so many dream getaway destinations... it's difficult to choose! Norway and Sweden are on my list for sure. :)
I'll start!
This is such a hard question! I love everywhere I’ve been. New Zealand was probably the most consistently beautiful country I’ve seen. I went there on my honeymoon and we did a road trip through the North and South Islands. It was stunning. I also find myself constantly returning to South America. I love the cultures, the food, the nature, the people and the language. Also visiting Patagonia was spectacular.
