F 451 is an amazing book!! I've read it a bunch of times. For those who are reading it for the first time, enjoy!!! It's one of the books that got me into dystopian fiction :)

Hi Everyone. This is my 1st time participating in a book challenge. I started this book on 4/11 & read 71 pages, on day two(4/10) I read 49 pages & I finished this book last night(4/11) /w/ 45 pgs. read. I Found this book to be kind of confusing therefore I didn't really care for it. Luckily it was a short read as I kind of had to force myself to finish it, especially if I wanted to complete this book challenge. I gave this book 2 out of 5 stars.

I've got entrance exams coming up and I can either read or write in my spare time, and after all that studing, I just need to write.

@Rhia - I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I've been hearing it's relatively short, so I'm glad. I still haven't gotten my copy yet! Sigh. I might end up reading this after the month is over, simply because I won't get it in time! :( Ohh welll...

the development seems a bit rushed. But it is a good book. When Guy Montag reveals to his wife his collection of books I was surprised too that he actually have lots of them books.
by the way, wasn't it being rude that Guy Montag turn off the parlor walls so that her wife' friends and her wife engage in conversation? I would be so enraged if someone turns off the tv when I am watching it especially with my friends.
even quoting them poem! Guy Montag needs to chill

At the end of Fahrenheit 451, Montag meets a group of travellers who have all dedicated themselves to "becoming" a book so it will be perserved for the future. If you were going to memorize a book for a future world with no books, which would you want to become?
I used to think I'd want to be a big philosophy book, like Plato's Republic, but now I think I would prefer to be one of those children's books that make you cry. Like Charolette's Web or Where the Red Fern Grows.

Oh I love this idea! I would like to be Wonder by RJ Palacios, because it teaches about acceptance, love, family, friendship, difference, bullying, learning, growing, role models, parenting. It has so many important messages!

At the end of Fahrenheit 451, Montag meets a group of travellers who have all dedicated them..."
What an amazing question! I think I'd want to be a book that had a big impact on me somewhere along my life. Maybe...The Book Thief. Or a childhood favorite? I'm not sure, maybe I just haven't read the book yet.
Who's excited?!! ME! What do you guys think? :)
