Detective Prester shows up at Gwen’s home to question her and the kids about the body they found in the lake. When Lanny shares vital information she witnessed that night, Gwen knows that they are now at risk but decides not to flee. What did you make of her decision at that time…the right thing to do or should she have packed up and run?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I understand why she didn't run. She liked this place and felt safe and at home here. The kids were traumatized from all the running. She should have fled, but that would have killed the plot. I also thought if she was going to run, she should have used Javier's contact for her new documents. I didn't trust Absolum.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I agree with Anita. She stayed because the kids were finally starting to act like normal kids their age. All of the running and hiding had taken a toll on them and they needed a stable environment.

I didn't think she should flee. If she had, not only would she have the vigilantes looking for them, but the police may have decided she had something to do with the body in the lake. They wouldn't hesitate to plaster her face on the news as a wanted fugitive.

She was between a rock and a hard place. I sensed something was up (the coincidence was too much) but of the two choices, staying was the better one, even knowing what comes later.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments I agree with you all; she really couldn't pick up stakes and run with the children. As a mother, I cannot imagine her mind and imagination at this point in time.
