2. Least favorite character: Probably her mom. She wasn't very sympathetic and
her exchanges with Parvin are generally short and unfeeling. It wasn't that she didn't care but her expression of love/care was so minimal. Reminds me a little of Katniss' mom (from the Hunger Games).
3. SPOILER! One part of the book I would want to change is Jude dying. It feels so unnecessary and does nothing particular for the plot in that moment. It does heighten the drama though...
4. I generally liked the ending but it feels a bit abrupt and it's really sad (good lead for the second book though)
5. Overall opinion: I love this book! I have read it several times before and every time, I have enjoyed it. It's an interesting subset of genres: Dystopian/Christian/Fantasy/Romance that somehow actually work really well together. The dystopian world is defined and well-designed. The Christian elements are not overdone. The fantasy/Sci fi is fascinating. And the romance is well executed, not weird or too something. I generally don't enjoy dystopian books and I'm not a huge modern romance fan but this was well done and a wonderful read!

Well, my fav in the series, at least when I first read it a couple of years ago, was Soloman, with Parvin in second, but Soloman is hardly in A Time to Die, and I like Parvin better later. In this one I also liked Jude, Willow, and Reid.
2. Who was your least favorite character?
Am I allowed to say the assassin? If not maybe Alder? Or possibly the Preacher. He really annoyed me.
3. If you could change one part of the book, what would it be?
I honestly don't know. (view spoiler)
4. What did you think of the ending? (spoiler tags, please!)
It was a good ending. I mean, it wasn't happy, but there was hope to it. And it really makes you want to read the next one.
5. What was your overall opinion?
I really enjoyed rereading it, although I think it's prob my least favorite in the series. I would def recommend it.

5. Overall opinion: I thought this was a really well Christian fic book! I loved the Christian elements and loved all the characters besides alder haha. They were all very unique and contrasted each other. I loved the futuristic setting and the dystopian genre! The whole set up was great. Howeverrrr, I found Pravin a bit annoying and hotheaded. She was very irrational at times and lot very smart at moments she shouldn’t been, which was kinda annoying. I’ve heard her character progresses more over the series so I’m excited about seeing how she advances. But this book was really great! Learning about the meaning of shalom was beautiful as well!

Jude, I guess? I liked Hawke, too, but you don’t really get a chance to learn much about him in the story.
2. Who was your least favorite character?
Maybe a tie between Skelley Chase and Alder. Although…I have to admit, I didn’t like Parvin much, either. 😅
3. If you could change one thing, what would it be?
I’d make all the characters feel a little more genuine. Their actions and behavior often seemed kind of random to me.
4. How did you feel about the ending?
I didn’t like that there wasn’t much resolution to anything, but it did make me curious about the next book.
5. What was your opinion overall?
A Time to Die was creative, exciting, and interesting! Parvin annoyed me a lot, though, so that took away some of my enjoyment, and I also didn’t love the writing style. But I’m definitely interested enough to continue the series!
