omfg girl 😭i rlly don’t like anyone rn but people think i would look cute with one of my guy friends and i sometimes agree and then im like meh, becuase one time that i liked him for like a day it was because one of his best friend asked me “hey, do you like _____?” and i was like “no, why?” and he said “oh cause he’s always talking about you and he stops playing just to talk to you and i was like “HUHHH” so i was like maybe he’s kinda cuteee, and next day i was like yeah never mind

yeah i get it, but dude totally i went for a guy way out of my league and its literally the best relationship i've ever had. i mean he's a football player (american football, i mean)!! like total jock (secretly a band geek tho shhh), and he's super popular but still a great person and i never thought i would have a chance but look at me now! lol

OKAY THIS WILL BE LONG...umm ive liked this guy for 1 and a half years and i thought that he liked me too because he would stare at me and when we would make eye contact he would hold it and not blink (lol i was always the first one to look away). sadly we didn't talk much because i was in my shy girl era and idek why he never really came up to me.
anyway, about 6 months after i started liking him (yes the staring went on for 6 FREAKING MONTHS without either of us doing anything) we were in a group with a bunch of our friends and somehow we started talking about this real fancy place (idk??) and he mentioned that he is going there on a date with his gf (and they are still dating). this was the first time i had ever heard him talk about having a gf in the year i had known him. i didnt find out anything more than that because i was so shocked and speechless to try and be smooth when talking to him anymore. the staring still went on though, but i kept pushing away (BIG MISTAKE).
but now when we were together (like in the same room) he would leave his friends and sit or stand by himself and stare at me. not in my direction, at me. i avoided eye contact, but it was way too obvious that he was giving me a chance for me to talk to him. honestly i really didnt want to, but omfg i wish i just sucked it in and talked to him. anyway i assume that the reason why he never came up to me was because he has a gf and didnt want to make a move when he has a gf already, yk? and i never made a move either, i was just so unsure and all over the place and didnt want to complicate my life even more. the staring/giving me a chance to talk to him still went on for maybe 3 months and he just gave up. nothing of the sort has ever happened since then, and its been 6 months.
so there's that. i still have hope tho. not like im gonna do anything rn. i dont want to get into dating again right now. idk if im allowed to haha. but i just feel like i dont need that in this point of my life because i got wayy more important things to focus on. plus im young and not serious about getting married anytime soon haha. maybe circumstances will be better in the future??
