I really loved this one.
Two rival factions are in a long-term war, battled up and down the timeline. Two agents on opposite sides start to interact through letters (or what they call letters anyway), and gradually build a friendship and ultimately a romance, even though they never meet in person.
Tragic and stunning - great book!
