Started this today and I’m LOVING it so far.

I liked that we got some chronic illness rep in our FMC, I’m not sure it was specified what she has (unless I missed it). Shane has come across very cheeky thus far, I just know he’s going to be trouble. Trouble that I love 👀

I already know that this one is going to pack an emotional punch, I’m ready for it tho.

How’re you enjoying so far?

Psa- I’m not really going to have a chance to read tomorrow, but I’ll try and catch up by Sunday/Monday :)

Dia | 386 comments I've only just started and I love it! Eva is hilarious and with that opening scene, who wouldn't be hooked?
I may have missed it but I didn't realise our FMC will have an illness, it hasn't been specified yet till where I've read it, but something about headaches? But I'm loving this representation too!

and don't worry about the reading pace!

Dia | 386 comments sorry I was kinda slow as this seemed like an easy read, I was trying to tackle other books first lol

I love Audre, she seems wise beyond her age, but at the same time, still sound and act like the teenager that she is! I also love Eva's relationship with her. They're such a good pair. If I ever have a child I'd love this kind of a relationship.

I feel for Eva, I'm not a parent but she was caught up in being a good mum that she forgot to be herself and meeting Shane again seems to help with that.
WHAT THEY ARE SO BRAVE OR RECKLESS IN AN UNKNOWN ROOM WHERE THEY COULD BE CAMERAS???

oh the trauma that both of them must carry I don't understand what they went through specifically but I can empathise in parts, and perhaps that's why I like them both? They're so real as characters.

You're going to love when Shane meets Audre if you haven't read that far yet!

I just ended Ch 19 and wow that revelation must have hurt Eva. I have to say I can't stop here now, so I would probably finish this some time today.

Dia | 386 comments Lizette is mental. Like I want to hate her but she probably has her own share of trauma. But then again, could she be a narcissist? How could a mother be jealous over her young teenage daughter receiving love just because she hasn't omg

As humans why do we talk ourselves out of happiness, as though we don't deserve it :(

I finished it and I'm screaming omg I didn't think I'd love this book as much as I do
