Full Description: Rose has dirty blonde with strands of gold and lighter blonde mixed in throughout, and her gently, rippling waves of hair fall down to her shoulder blades. Her wide, solemn eyes are light gray with tiny flecks of darker gray speckled throughout the irises, but she is never seen without a pair of tinted sunglasses on so that no one can see them. She has a slim, almost delicate looking figure and a porcelain complexion. Although she has little to no curves, she has a graceful frame, and she has a sophisticated and mysterious air about her. She always carries herself with excellent posture, which tends to make her appear slightly condescending and conceited, and her height is just a little under 5’8. She has slender, long fingers and hands with short, neatly trimmed fingernails and high cheekbones. Her facial features are not especially sharp, but they’re not very round either. She has a long neck, torso, and legs, and her feet are rather small, even for her height. She doesn’t have an overabundance of muscle and honestly almost looks like a pale flower, but she has taught more than one person before that looks can be deceiving. She has a few scars on her back, stomach, and thighs and a little one just below her left eyebrow from various encounters with other experiments and scientists, and she also has a small owl tattoo on her right shoulder blade.
Since she prefers to move about invisible and unnoticed, her wardrobe isn’t much to look at. The vast majority of her clothes are comfortable and made of breathable cotton to accommodate her enhanced tactile sensitivities and are easy to maneuver in. She wears only neutral or dark colors to blend in like a chamaeleon wherever she is and loves to wear leggings, sweatpants, t-shirts, and fuzzy socks when she’s in the privacy of her own room. Around everyone else, she wears earthy tones and black, donning dark leggings, long-sleeved shirts, gloves, boots, tinted sunglasses, and a leather choker. Still, there are some occasions that require her to dress up, and if she puts effort into it, she can have quite the dramatic effect.

Full Description: Rose mostly likes to keep to herself and wears an aloof, distant mask around almost everyone. She’s been described frequently as eccentric, strange, eerie, mysterious, and an enigma. Not even the scientists who have known her since she was a child fully understand her, but they know that she’s deviously brilliant. She loves chess, puzzles, and mind games, though most of the scientists know better by now than to play games with her as she hardly ever loses.
She has a very annoying habit of finding out people’s secrets and being especially nosy, which has gotten her into trouble more than once. Many of her physical scars come from incidents like that where she knew too much for her own good. She’s also very stealthy and good at being invisible, the perfect candidate to steal information and secrets.
After spending most of her life in a lab, she has few emotional attachments to anyone or anything. Everything is disposable to her once it’s served its purpose. Why keep an old broom when you have a new vacuum cleaner? It’s simply neater that way, and Rose loves organization. She hates chaos with a passion; she prefers to think strictly in black and white with little gray in between.
She has a tight leash on her emotions and never genuinely smiles or laughs. It’s always choreographed to precise measurements. It’s challenging to make her lose her temper, which will cause her to be reckless, but if you know what to say and which buttons to push, it’s not quite so difficult. She has a long history of rejection and being put down; bringing that up might be enough to make her lose control or at least make her agitated, losing her grip a little on her usual distant persona.
Rose loves nothing more than a challenge. Anyone who has taunted her quickly learned not to if they wanted to get away with something. Telling Rose she can’t do something just makes her even more determined. She has an exceptionally strong will and is always cool and collected no matter what the situation. She knows how to think and talk her way out of anything, even when someone has a gun pointed to her head.
She loves all kinds of games where she can exercise and improve her mental prowess, especially chess. She can almost never resist the opportunity to best someone else using her own mind, and it is one of her points of weakness.
Powers/Magic:
Enhanced Senses: Enhanced Senses: Rose has enhanced hearing, sight, smell, taste, balance, proprioception, temperature, pain, chronoreception, and touch. She can hear frequencies that others can’t, distinguish between more shades of colors, see better in the dark, detect poisons and other substances on her tongue, smell things too faint for others to pick up on, and differentiate between tactile sensations that others can’t.
Shapeshift: She can change the color of her eyes at will, but she cannot alter any other aspects of her physical appearance except to turn her skin into diamond.
Weaknesses: Rose’s enhanced senses do not have an on/off switch. They are enhanced all the time, so loud noises, bright lights, pungent smells and tastes, and rough materials bother her far more than other people. She also feels physical pain much more intensely than other people, e.g. a paper cut to her could feel as painful as a significantly deeper cut would feel to someone else.
They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, and in Rose’s case, this is literally true. Anyone can see exactly what she is feeling if they look into her eyes. This is why she always wears tinted sunglasses or something that will hide her eyes from everyone else.
She may have a truly astonishing mind, but physically she is very weak. Her magic cannot be used effectively offensively, and her defense is weak. She mostly relies on her mind to get her out of dangerous situations, but it is one of the only strategies she has. At some point, it will backfire on her.
