I’m pro-Israel, and willing to talk! :) I’d like to know more from the other side and also be able to maybe share a bit from my own knowledge

Hey everybody, this is a reminder- this is an OPEN conversation and a middle ground, so hate of any sort will NOT be tolerated. You will get one warning, and then you will kicked if it's repeated. Some things will be said that will anger and upset you, and I completely understand, but please restrain on taking those feelings out on people because again, this is a middle ground.

As a Jew who has a ton of Israeli friends and def supports Israel I see the other side and I get it. I’m against Bibi and his government and what he does in Gaza. But I’m also super against Hamas and hezbollah. I’m with the people. I feel empathy for the Palestinians who have lost their lives, home, and family members. And I also have a lot of familiar member and friends who have been directly impacted by oct 7. I just kind of feel like there is a ton of hate and misinformation. And the “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” makes me so because it’s basically calling for the killing of all Jews and Israelis. Anyway I just wanna talk about it more and hear other perspectives

I'm sorry to hear that you and your family and friends have been impacted a lot by what's happening and by what's going on. 💔 So "from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" is not about "killing all Jews and Israelis." It's a freedom chant that activists use against the genocide. And it's a far cry compared to the speeches, songs, and social media posts that Israelis have posted publicly calling for "all Palestinians to die" and "for their women and children to be raped." Do you see the unfair harshness here? And yes, I also know about so many Jewish Palestinians that were removed from their homes due to the Nekbah and Israeli army. :( There are Palestinian Christians, Jews, Muslims, atheists, and so much more. It's not a religious issue, it's a racist, ethnic cleansing one.

" From The River To The Sea, Palestine Will Be Free" doesn't indicate killing Jews at all, it's about Palestinians being free from all aggression, unfairness and occupation. The chants of " burn their village" and " let's annihilate Gaza ", these are the ones that actually indicate killing Palestinians and Muslims.
