reckless guy x responsible girl

Guy A just got kicked out of his apartment for not paying his rent, and now he has no place to go. He can’t crash with his best friend because she lives with her boyfriend, who already isn’t a fan of Guy A. But she tells him of a friend who is looking for a roommate to share the payment for the apartment. He takes the offer and moves in, only to find out that they’re total opposites, to say the least. Girl A is quiet and neat with a decent job and a schedule running her day. Guy A is loud and messy, bringing his drama, reckless personality, and girls at late times in the night with him. While girl Girl A is the responsible type, and Guy A can’t take care of a goldfish to save his life. Girl A likes their privacy and Guy A, of course, is happily walking around the apartment half-naked and entering their roommate’s space without knocking without a care in the world. But despite this, Guy A has the intention of changing for the better, even if he’s struggling with doing that. Being at a low point in his life, Guy A finally decides to turn his life around with this second chance but always finds himself falling short. It doesn't help that they argue every day about anything, clashing about the simplest stuff. But they have to put up with each other because the apartment is all they have. Maybe things will change the longer they live together. Or maybe they’ll leave each other’s lives.

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) | 1750 comments Rose moved around the apartment, trying to make it nice and clean. There wasn’t much to the place. Just like the many other apartments in this building, this one opened up into a hallway, which wasn’t very wide. A closet was right next to the front door for shoes and jackets. Straight down the hallway to the right would be the rooms. One was hers, and the other would be for her roommate. At the end of the hallway was the bathroom, which wasn’t as big, but it was good enough. The room right next to the bathroom was hers, leaving her roommate the one closer to the front door. On the left side of the hallway, there was a doorway to the living room and kitchen. There wasn’t a wall between the two, but a good amount of space, kinda. The living room consisted of one sofa, a coffee table, and a TV on another table. There were some paintings on the white walls. The kitchen was clean of any mess, and the windows were open.

Rose tried to keep the place as clean as possible every day. She was very adamant about keeping it clean and presentable. Of course, there were days when work and school got in the way, and most times she would just go home and knock out. But she always did her best. This week, after putting out that she was looking for a roommate, Rose made sure the place was nice in case anyone wanted to see it. Luckily she already found someone or more as someone found her. A close friend of hers told her that she had a friend who needed a place, and because of how desperate she was, as long as he paid the rent with Rose, she didn’t care who it was. But of course, as long as he wasn’t a killer that was. Though her former roommate was a female, Rose told herself that this wouldn't be any different. She sighs, wondering where her new roommate was anyway. She had to leave for school soon and she wanted to make sure to at least welcome the guy

xivmo. | 14 comments Bobbing his head to music blasting in his ears as he walked down the street. But his music got interrupted by an text that came through, he sighed as he looked at it. Xylo rolled his eyes as he read his friend's text. He was late to meet the girl who was supposed to be his new roommate. And of course, like always, him being a useless person was brought up. Xylo wasn't good with timing; so, he didn't argue about the matter. He just sent a simple text back. Tell her I am on my way right now. He then put his phone in his back pocket and continued walking, he carried everything he owned on his back inside the bookbag. Xylo was a cool person, mostly laid back and quiet but let his way of life control him more than he would like to admit. It was quick and easy money; he wanted a lifestyle, and selling was the best way to get there. He knew one day was going to make everyone eat their own words when he owned the city.

An hour later Xylo was at the front door, he knocked on the door and put his hands inside of his hoodie pocket as he waited. He didn't know this girl from a fly on the wall but, he needed a place and she needed someone to help her with the rent. He had gotten good with selling and made enough to cover his half, unlike his prior apartment. The rent just kept rising and Xylo couldn't keep up with it. He raised an eyebrow when know came to the door, he knocked again this time a little harder as he pulled out his phone and started texting his friend. To see what was going on.

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) | 1750 comments Rose was pacing back in forth in the living, fidgeting with her phone as she did so. She had called Riley earlier to ask her about her new roommate and why he was running late. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to give her any good reason to help calm her nerves. She noticed that it had been an hour since she last checked with Riley, so she started to ring her. "Hey, any updates?" She asked as she went to the window in the living room that overlooked the street, hoping she would probably spot him outside, which would be stupid because she didn't even know how he looked. Just as her friend was speaking on the other side of the phone, she heard the knock.

"Never mind, never mind," Rose interrupted her and pulled her head back in. "I think that's him at the door. I'll talk to you later." She struggled to close the window with her phone between her ear and shoulder. Eventually, once she was done she hung up and made her way to the door just as he knocked again. "Coming," she called.

Finally. She straightened up and fixed her hair. She believed first impressions were pretty important. How the person looked was the first thing you noticed, and well if they don’t look pleasing, then they probably weren’t a pleasing person. Rose at the moment was dressed in a floral maxi summer dress with cap sleeves. She wasn’t dressed for her roommate if she were to be honest, but for her class where she had to present today. Still, it meant she looked presentable, and that was good enough. Besides appearance, Rose believed that attitude was a big thing with first impressions. So when she opened the door, she found her new roommate with his first impression.

“Hey. I’m Rose Anderson, not sure if Riley told you.” Rose beamed as she looked over her roommate, extending her hand to shake his. She was surprised by his appearance, not expecting him to look the way he did. She tried not to show her shocked look as she stepped away for him to enter.

xivmo. | 14 comments Xylo had a messy/grunge look about himself, it was clear from just one look at him that he wasn't normal. He didn't like normal people, he felt like they were annoying and boring. He looked up from his phone when he saw the door open and there stood a normal person. He sighed loudly not hiding how he felt, he looked at her hand. "Xylo Jinn." he said, his Asian accent was harsh but at the same time, you could clearly understand him. He walked past her without shaking her hand. He looked around at the apartment, he sighed loudly with annoyance. It looked boring just like her but, he didn't say anything. He needed a place to stay so he didn't have any room to say anything. He walked down the hall until he saw an open door. He peeked inside and saw that it was an empty room, he looked at the girl removed one of his air pods and pointed at the room. "Is this mine?" he asked.

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) | 1750 comments - sorry I got busy after I posted my last comment. I’ll get to this one later today when I’m more free I promise

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) | 1750 comments Oh god. Seeing tattoos on her new roommate was not something she expected, especially in the amount that he had. Not only that, but the way he dressed, the way he acted, and even how he spoke, it screamed bad news. What was Riley thinking? Xylo brushed passed her carelessly and ignored her stretched hand. He didn’t even wait for her to show him around before making himself at home and finding his room. She was already so annoyed with how late he made her, that she didn’t have time to acknowledge what just happened. “Uhh… yes.” She said as she tried to ignore her situation. "I have to leave for class now, your set of keys is on the counter in the kitchen. There isn't any spare beside mine so be careful not to lose them, please. We can discuss our arrangement and payment once I'm back. For now, make yourself at home." Rose grabbed her bag from the hook on the wall and turned to face him once more. "Is there anything you would like to ask me before I leave?"

xivmo. | 14 comments Xylo was about to go into the room once she had agreed it was his room but she kept talking. To him it seemed like she was talking way more than it actually needed to be. He sighed and glanced over at her, before he shook his head back and forth. Xylo then just walked into his room, closing the door with his foot. The room was plain it only had what looked like a queen size bed on the far left side of the room, which set on top of a metal frame. On the other side a plain black dresser set against the wall. He shrugged at the sight but he knew he was going to put his own personal touches little by little so it wasn’t that big of a deal for him. Since money wasn’t really a problem for him anymore. He know he would have his room, looking the way he liked in no time.

He took his bag off his back and throw it onto the bed and sat on the edge of the bed as he pulled his phone out. Some of his costumers wanted to pick up some of his packages, he sent them the address and told em to let him know when they were there. He didn’t even ask her was it okay for him to drop the address but it really didn’t matter, at least to him.

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) | 1750 comments Rude. Rose thought. Surely this wouldn’t be the attitude that she would be dealing with daily. Because if that was the case, maybe having a random roommate was a bad idea. She just sighed to herself and left the apartment. She was already late and didn’t want to waste any more time. Hopefully, when she comes back she will be able to sit down and talk with him properly.

((Time skip the the night when she comes home?))

xivmo. | 14 comments | Def. =D

It wasn't long before Xylo's phone notified him of a message. Xylo stood up; he started stretching as he let out a deep and low breath before he made his way out of his bedroom. Xylo walked to the front door and was about to leave but, then he remembered what the girl had said about the key on the kitchen counter. He went and grabbed it quickly before he went out the front door. He locked the door and made his way to the main entrance of the apartment complex. He put the key in the front pocket of his black jeans, he kept both of his hands in his pocket as he walked.

As he walked people were staring and whispering to each other, it was something he was used to. He didn't look like most people, so most people were either scared of him or just curious about him. Xylo soon stopped walking, he stood in front of a parking spot and took his phone out of his pocket. He started texting his client and letting him know it was waiting.

A few minutes later a black car pulled up in front of him, he sighed as he walked to the passenger side. The window started rolling down and that's when Xylo binned down, peeking through the window. "This your new spot?" asked Taylor, he was a young party boy. He has been buying from Xylo for a while. Xylo nodded before he stuck his arm into the car, they quickly exchanged the drugs for money and Xylo stood back up. The car windows were dark, the closest to black they could get. So, neither one of them was worried that anyone would see them. "Alright, I will text you if I need you again." Taylor said. Xylo nodded before he started walking off. "Just let me know." he simply answered. Xylo started walking slowly back to the apartment. He watched as the car drove off; Xylo stayed walking slowly. Making sure the car left the apartment complex before he started walking at his normal walking speed. Xylo wasn't stupid in what he did, he didn't trust anyone. In his line of work, trust gets you rubbed or killed. He soon made it back to the front door.

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) | 1750 comments After going to school, Rose followed her usual schedule of going to the library to study and do homework, picking up something to eat, and then going to work. It wasn't until late at night that she finally made her way home, exhausted and ready to call it a day. She was very tired to the point that she had forgotten about her new roommate today. She made her way to the elevator, which was useful for days as long as this. Pressing the button for the third floor, she leaned against the wall with a big sigh. The stress of the last month weighed on her shoulders but she knew she couldn't take a break anytime soon. It was bad enough she dropped one of her jobs to relieve some of the stress.
