ROSE ANDERSON | 23 | ♀|5'6"
⊹ fc: sydney melman
⊹ rose grew up in the suburban part of new york with just her father, her mother passing away when she was just five.
⊹ money didn’t come easily to the two, especially with how much of it was wasted on drugs for her father.
⊹ uses the memory of her mom and her faith in god to stay strong
⊹ wanting to get a fresh start and prosper, rose moved to the city with her pet cat after high school and started college.
⊹ after a year of two half-shifts and endless schoolwork, she had to drop one of her jobs if she wanted to keep her sanity.
⊹ however she was overdue in rent. not wanting to give up just yet, rose searched for another job and another apartment.
⊹ luckily her friend told her about someone that she could share the apartment with and split the bill.

Rose tried to keep the place as clean as possible every day. She was very adamant about keeping it clean and presentable. Of course, there were days when work and school got in the way, and most times she would just go home and knock out. But she always did her best. This week, after putting out that she was looking for a roommate, Rose made sure the place was nice in case anyone wanted to see it. Luckily she already found someone or more as someone found her. A close friend of hers told her that she had a friend who needed a place, and because of how desperate she was, as long as he paid the rent with Rose, she didn’t care who it was. But of course, as long as he wasn’t a killer that was. Though her former roommate was a female, Rose told herself that this wouldn't be any different. She sighs, wondering where her new roommate was anyway. She had to leave for school soon and she wanted to make sure to at least welcome the guy

An hour later Xylo was at the front door, he knocked on the door and put his hands inside of his hoodie pocket as he waited. He didn't know this girl from a fly on the wall but, he needed a place and she needed someone to help her with the rent. He had gotten good with selling and made enough to cover his half, unlike his prior apartment. The rent just kept rising and Xylo couldn't keep up with it. He raised an eyebrow when know came to the door, he knocked again this time a little harder as he pulled out his phone and started texting his friend. To see what was going on.

"Never mind, never mind," Rose interrupted her and pulled her head back in. "I think that's him at the door. I'll talk to you later." She struggled to close the window with her phone between her ear and shoulder. Eventually, once she was done she hung up and made her way to the door just as he knocked again. "Coming," she called.
Finally. She straightened up and fixed her hair. She believed first impressions were pretty important. How the person looked was the first thing you noticed, and well if they don’t look pleasing, then they probably weren’t a pleasing person. Rose at the moment was dressed in a floral maxi summer dress with cap sleeves. She wasn’t dressed for her roommate if she were to be honest, but for her class where she had to present today. Still, it meant she looked presentable, and that was good enough. Besides appearance, Rose believed that attitude was a big thing with first impressions. So when she opened the door, she found her new roommate with his first impression.
“Hey. I’m Rose Anderson, not sure if Riley told you.” Rose beamed as she looked over her roommate, extending her hand to shake his. She was surprised by his appearance, not expecting him to look the way he did. She tried not to show her shocked look as she stepped away for him to enter.

He took his bag off his back and throw it onto the bed and sat on the edge of the bed as he pulled his phone out. Some of his costumers wanted to pick up some of his packages, he sent them the address and told em to let him know when they were there. He didn’t even ask her was it okay for him to drop the address but it really didn’t matter, at least to him.

((Time skip the the night when she comes home?))

It wasn't long before Xylo's phone notified him of a message. Xylo stood up; he started stretching as he let out a deep and low breath before he made his way out of his bedroom. Xylo walked to the front door and was about to leave but, then he remembered what the girl had said about the key on the kitchen counter. He went and grabbed it quickly before he went out the front door. He locked the door and made his way to the main entrance of the apartment complex. He put the key in the front pocket of his black jeans, he kept both of his hands in his pocket as he walked.
As he walked people were staring and whispering to each other, it was something he was used to. He didn't look like most people, so most people were either scared of him or just curious about him. Xylo soon stopped walking, he stood in front of a parking spot and took his phone out of his pocket. He started texting his client and letting him know it was waiting.
A few minutes later a black car pulled up in front of him, he sighed as he walked to the passenger side. The window started rolling down and that's when Xylo binned down, peeking through the window. "This your new spot?" asked Taylor, he was a young party boy. He has been buying from Xylo for a while. Xylo nodded before he stuck his arm into the car, they quickly exchanged the drugs for money and Xylo stood back up. The car windows were dark, the closest to black they could get. So, neither one of them was worried that anyone would see them. "Alright, I will text you if I need you again." Taylor said. Xylo nodded before he started walking off. "Just let me know." he simply answered. Xylo started walking slowly back to the apartment. He watched as the car drove off; Xylo stayed walking slowly. Making sure the car left the apartment complex before he started walking at his normal walking speed. Xylo wasn't stupid in what he did, he didn't trust anyone. In his line of work, trust gets you rubbed or killed. He soon made it back to the front door.
